Time is the thing that writers race. It is what we run after, manipulate, extend and even reverse. It is a talent to rewrite one’s own history. Or another’s history. Your talent is needed and valuable, never think it is not. Everyone is taught to write to survive in the world. Yet, few know how to survive in the world by writing.
