Loving yourself is a radical act.
Loving yourself enough to embrace where you are–and go forward!–is a radical act.
As a writer, no matter the genre, you are going to have to accept three things:
1.) You are a writer. Writers write.
2.) You not bound to write solely about trauma or pain.
3.) Write what you want, not what people think you should write.
Let no one own your pen. Let no one diminish your story. The best way to get out ahead of a story is to tell it yourself.
You can do it! Get to work.
