As this month ends, I desire that you all do me one favor. I want you to brag on yourselves a little bit. I want you to decide that every portion of progress, and celebrate it.

I want you to decide being a writer is a win.

Starting a work is a win.

Completing a work is a win.

Embracing all your identities to write fully in your truth is a win.

Own that–as it is truly a process! It is truly is a matter of great courage to tell yourself that, “I did this, and I don’t need anyone else to say that they are proud of me. I am proud of me.”

Maturity is a win.
