TW: Reliving emotional trauma/abuse

Sometimes there are stories so charged with emotion that you have to make a way back–there has to be a way to take the charge out of the creation of a scene or a character so that you are able to walk away from it when the story is complete.
When beginning an emotionally charged story (or a story you know will stir up deeper emotions), you may want to write in spurts, or that you may want to write in community with writers creating similar work in that genre.
The goal is to be as authentic as possible, bringing necessary emotion to the work, of course!
The goal is to be authentic, not paralyzed.
When looking deep, to write in the depth where pain may be, build a way back.
