The brilliant writer Neil Gaiman (whom has a fabulous MASTERCLASS!) said that human beings are storytellers: we tell stories to survive.
I agree.
It is through those stories, the stories we pick up, which we repeat, and pass on–they allow us to survive. For survival is what we seek to do, that which we must do.
Sometimes for the work that writers do, we seek to change the ending. We seek to flip the middle–rework the truth for what we want–bending life to what we want.
In this power, with this gifting, tell the story that you want!
Tell the story you need to tell–even if you need the truth for source material.
