Don’t curse your work.
What you have put on paper is valid and valuable. It is needed and necessary! Your talent demands that you become confident in all that you desire to say. Sometimes, you must mine your own hope!
Read it again: You must mine your own hope.
In bringing all of you to your work, this means you must be sentient and intentional. Even if that means you must be cognizant of the desire to write before you even write! Therein lies your hope.
What I hope for when I write is one consistent thing: confidence.
I want to write what I have purposed to write. Thereby writing with intention and power.
My hope is sometimes given one word at a time.
