Ghostwriting-

Ghostwriting is defined as you having an idea that you need help writing. The work is completely yours, and will be credited to you alone. This means, you will receive the only credit as the author.

This service will be charged by session, and will go through all the steps of the writing process (Prewriting, Drafting, Revision, Editing, Rewrite, Final Draft).

These sessions will be at the convenience of the author and JBHWS staff. Session will be set for either 2 or 4 hours, depending on the author and drafting of the manuscript.

Before the beginning of a ghostwriting project, consultations are scheduled one week in advance of project. Initial consultation is recommended for 1 hour.

BRAINSTORMING (2 hours-flat rate)

Cost-$200

Includes:  Assisting with prewriting, and preparation for drafting; drafting

After initial 2 hours, rate is $50/hour.

Subsequent individual sessions can be scheduled/recommended due to the size, or nature, of the project.

LAB WORK (4 hours-flat rate)

Cost-$400

Includes:  Assisting with drafting manuscript and editing.

 After 4 hour session, $50/hour.

Subsequent individual block sessions can be scheduled/recommended due to size, or nature, of the project.

*Line-By-Line Reading

Cost: $500

This service is specifically for editing purposes. The process involves a proof copy of your book, and an electronic copy of the corresponding manuscript.

JBHWS staff will edit line by line making the desired corrections to your manuscript for resubmission. This service will be charged by session, according to the length of the book.

This service will include the price of a printed proof. The minimum session is 4 hours, plus the price of the proof (proofs will be done through self-publishing site, Kindle Direct Publishing).

This service is complete when proof is ordered, and manuscript given back to the author.

*Special arrangements must be made for novels, and reconstruction of their elements.

Complete Work Creation-

Deposit: $100 (non-refundable)

If you desire to have a work created an an addendum to any project, a consultation will be scheduled. This ensures the vision for our project is what you desire. A start date will be scheduled within 2 weeks of consultation.

Consultations can be conducted in-person or remote (i.e., over the phone or messaging app).

A summary of this meeting will be emailed to you. Upon reviewing, you have 24 to confirm information listed. If not confirmed, the summary will stand as correct.

The $100 deposit must be paid at the time of consultation.

There must be an estimated page count given. With a minimum page count of 50. The cost of creation will be charged as Lab Work.

The balance ($300) must be remitted by the start date of the project.

Upon completion, electronic copy of document will be sent to e-mail address provided. This will include a letter confirming all work is completed to your agreed specifications listed in the consultation meeting.
